I missed Geek Pride Day!
Have become a knitting geek these past few months. No doubt it is avoidance of various sorts, as well as the most recent manifestation of what is clearly an obsessive streak, but at least it is productive. Even calming.
They don’t sell “I knit so I don’t kill people” tee-shirts for nothing.
Ha! This is hilarious! My friend has started knitting for the same reason. I have just discovered some wonderful 18th-c. sites — mine is mostly “flotsam & jetsam” like this site, tho more so. Can’t wait to start an 18th-c. blog after I finish my dissertation in Dec. Sorry about all the turmoil in the your universities.
